I was pleased to rejoin SAVTE’s trustee board early in 2024. I have been a volunteer with SAVTE for over 7 years, facilitating conversation classes. I am proud of the work association does for people who have come to live and work in the city. As a volunteer in a trustee role, I have found that, being a member of a group of people actively steering SAVTE’s development is a rewarding and, for me, challenging experience. Being able to contribute my experience as a Conversation Club tutor is such a good feeling, as is sharing the planning and reviewing of our brilliant organisation with an experienced and knowledgeable team. |
