I joined SAVTE as a trustee at the beginning of 2024, following a year of volunteering as a one-to-one language teacher. I was so impressed with the work that SAVTE does in our community and with how effectively it works with volunteers and learners, and I am thrilled to be able to support the charity as a trustee as well. My working background is in publishing and teaching, and I currently work for an educational technology business. I am passionate about education, teaching and learning, and the opportunities and life skills that these provide for us all and for our communities. I live in Sheffield with my husband, two teenage children and two dogs. |
